As of now, Zeigler-Royalton CUSD 188 will proceed forward with a normal school day schedule tomorrow (Tuesday). However, we encourage parents and guardians to be prepared to make arrangements for an early dismissal in the event that the winter weather arrives earlier than expected

All Zeigler-Royalton CUSD 188 bus routes will resume on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Please be patient as our drivers work through their routes.

We are hoping to only have one more day where our buses will not run country routes, except Plumfield. Families whose children rely on country route bus transportation are advised to make alternative arrangements for their children to get to school safely and transported home after school on Wednesday (1/15). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but understand that the safety of our students is our top priority.
Our hope and plan is for all routes to resume on Thursday, but will keep you posted with an official message on Wednesday afternoon.
Zeigler-Royalton CUSD 188 will be back IN session on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
However, school buses will not be operating on country routes, EXCEPT Plumfield (The roads on the Plumfield route are in good enough condition for the bus to run). Families whose children rely on country route bus transportation are advised to make alternative arrangements for their children to get to school safely and transported home after school. Important Update for CUSD 188:
Friday, December 6, 2024, will be a 12:30 PM dismissal for all ZR CUSD 188 students.
This is for the High School Homecoming Parade. Parade times are as follows: (Zeigler @ approx 1:15) and (Royalton @ approx 2:00)
Bus transportation notice: this pertains to Royalton residents. We have been informed that they have started construction on the road in Royalton but not as to what roads are going to be closed to traffic. The bus drivers will navigate the roads as they can but some students may have to walk from a corner and not be dropped at the door. The driver will also give the students directions for morning pick ups. Please note this may slightly change the time of your students arrival home. Thank You
Coming soon!! Tornado Cheer Camp!!! Next week there will be a Tornado Cheer camp for our young Tornadoes. Camp will be held next week, Tuesday and Thursday 3-5, $30.00 a Cheerleader and 2 performances!!!! Information will be sent home tomorrow.
